This Dark Gray Premiere Piano Bench Pad measures 14.5" x 35" x 1.5". The highest quality piano bench cushion available, this pad was crafted using high end materials, and designed to include options not found on any other bench cushions on the market. This is the cushion we recommend for the ultimate in comfort and durability. Attaches to your bench using 3 sets of ties. Polyester Material This cushion uses a luxurious, durable polyester material. The material is extra thick designed to hold up to heavy usage and in environments with children or heavy traffic, such as schools and churches (many other cushions use velvet material, which can wear out faster) . The material is also water resistant. Extra-Thick Foam Padding: Standard piano bench cushions use 1" foam padding. We've found this is often not enough however, as the padding compresses (especially on cheaper made foams). This cushion uses 1.5" in foam padding--providing comfort, while not raising the pianist too high. American Made Foam Padding: For the ultimate in comfort and durability, we've used foam manufactured in the USA (California). It is a medium firmness foam, and is certified by CertiPur-US (meaning it passes all chemical and fire restrictions). Having selected the firmness, the manufacturer had 3 quality levels--we chose the highest quality, most expensive foam option. This will be far superior to the thinner, expensive (and sometimes imported) foam found in other cushions. Removable Cover - Zippered Back Cushions are known to get dirty over time. We've therefore made the cushion cover removable, by adding a zipper to the back of the cover. This way, if your cushion ever gets damaged, you can clean the cover. Or if you ever damage the foam, you will be able to replace the foam without having to buy a brand new cover! The zipper is tucked into the piping flaps, so it does not stick out.
