Had this for a little more than 6 months, and have been using it 3-4 times a week since then.PROS It was very easy to assemble. It's not super heavy, and it has a decent set of plastic wheels on the head end of the bench, so it's easy to maneuver. It is fairly wide (advertised as 9" wide on the long part of the bench), it's neither the narrowest nor the widest bench I've used. The ladder adjustment system is very easy to switch between positions, and it offers a full range of angles from true 90 degrees (upright) to a 195 degree position (decline). The seat also has a 4 pin adjustments for raising/lowering your seat in conjunction with the ladder bar. There are a set of adjustable foam pads to insert your shins into for better leverage/grip when mounting the bench.CONS The ladder adjustment system is a bit unstable; the ladder bar will sometimes not fully latch when you move it, and the ladder bar won't engage all the way to the welded clasps on the bottom of the bench. **If you're not careful, the ladder bar can slip all the way to the 195/decline position** BE VERY CERTAIN THE LADDER IS INSERTED INTO THE CLASPS BEFORE YOU LAY DOWN ON IT, OR YOU COULD FALL BACKWARDS!. Even when tightly engaged, I felt sometimes laying down loaded up with moderately heavy weight (I'm 210lbs and routinely use 70lb dumbells), the bench might slightly creak or jostle. It claims to be rated for 800lbs, I'm not sure I would choose this bench if I were a 250lb+ power lifter. That said, it works OK for my needs. The foam pads for your legs use a twist knob to tighten, and sometimes it seemed this would not stay fastened and slides down.Overall, a good bench, definitely better than ones I've used at gym facilities, no question. I would recommend it as long as you're not a super heavy person lifting 300+ lbs. I'm personally not sure I'd trust 600+lbs of weight on this bench.SturdinessThis bench is a tough, sturdy bench with many adjustments in the angle, the seat and the foot holder.I had looked at half a dozen or so adjustable benches over about a week when I ran across this gem. While I wish I could afford the XMark or Ironmaster benches that have rave reviews, I found that the Merax here had just about everything I was looking for half the price.I was impressed by its 800 lb weight capacity, decline option, and adjustable seat. The wheels in the back work like a charm and its overall weight is more than manageable. The cushions are firm but have a little give to them and the overall length fits me (5'8") just fine. The height of the bench when flat is a hair high but I've found that my feet rest on the U-shaped base of the seat. The gap between the back and the seat hasn't been an issue, unlike some other benches I've tried.Assembly was quick and relatively painless though you'll need a metric socket set. I ended up using vice grips and an adjustable wrench to lock down some of the largest nuts and bolts. The instructions are a bit simplistic but if you can follow a diagram and use common sense it's not difficult. I'm happy to report that I didn't have any damage on my item from shipping or otherwise. The upholstery and paint were in mint condition and I had all the parts necessary. The bench is flat when flat and isn't angled horizontally or vertically. I've heard horror stories from other brands where items were damaged or the benches weren't aligned properly. Not so with this one. I have to admit, I'd never heard of Merax before and was kind of buying sight unseen but they didn't disappoint. In the weeks since I assembled it, it's been very solid both literally and figuratively. I've loaded as much as 400 lbs. on it and it has been rock-steady. No wobbles and no slips. I've even done box jump-type exercises on it and it hasn't flinched.Overall, I'm 100% satisfied. The price just dropped on this ($160 as of this writing) though I got it for $180 a few weeks ago. I was happy with what I paid but it's even more of a steal now. I don't think you'll find a better bench for the price. This is a very good quality bench overall. The material and padding are very supportive. From the pics I was concerned about how strong the back support stops are give that it's just a little piece of welded metal, but they are actually quite strong and well-joined. The position adjustments for the back work very well for me and are quick and easy to adjust (must faster than playing with pins). It is quite heavy, which adds to the stability of the unit and is part of the what I like about it. It is quite sturdy. The handle in front and wheels on the back make this very easy to get in and out of position. Given the weight, it would be a lot harder if it lacked these useful features.Other reviews mentioned that the length of the back was a little long to get into a rack for incline presses, but it fits quite well in my rack for this purpose. Another complaint I saw was that the front base can get in the way of one's feet. I set up presses with my feet out far enough that it isn't a problem for me (and I have short legs, so if you have longer legs it should even be less of an issue). That wide base is also what makes this so sturdy. It was easy to assemble and came with very good instructions. A socket set (you'll need a few different sizes) will make it go pretty fast.My complaints are pretty minor. I wish it were a little bit wider, but it's still quite adequate. I don't really find the leg rest terribly useful. The seat needed to be adjusted a bit to square up to the back, and it's not perfect but still pretty good.Pour un tilisation personnel. Bon produit de qualité et facile à assembler. Je recommande ce produit sans hésiter.
