I have this in my shower. I love the look of it and how sturdy it is. I purchased it a year ago. My maintenance is minimal. After my shower, I give the bench a slight tip to drain off most of the water. I use an old towel to do a quick wipe off of the flat surfaces as a final way to keep in dry. I also apply a light coat of teak oil with a rag on the bench (my plan is to use the teak oil once every 6 months.) After a year, the bench still looks brand new.
