I really like how the design makes this unit sturdy, making it easy to assemble with many self-squaring, reinforced corners. My wife was impressed I could build this since I have the reputation of being mechanically challenged.The unit shipped well, protected with bubble wrap. Sunk predrilled holes for all the screws.The following items are preassembled: Center table unit,strainer drawer,legs,bottom shelf,top shelf.Assembly was attaching the legs to the table, sliding the bottom shelf, into place.Then build the back slats assembly, attach it to table, add sides to the table.Warning, fool proof except for building the back slats assembly. Turns out parts G and G1 must have the square notches facing out, before attaching slats. See attached pictures.Comes with a screwdriver, but a power screwdriver is recommended to install over two dozen screws.Cons. Fir is a soft wood, which made it easy to assemble, it also means there were several cosmetic tool marks from manufacturing. Although overall good wood selections, with strong, straight pieces, but some pieces had knot holes, which were inexpertly filled. Overall, nothing a light sanding of the tool marks, and a darker varnish cannot cover.Also, the last part to go on, the top shelf, was labeled "1" but looked more like an "l" in the instructions. It took me a minute to figure out that it had to be attached to the front of the posts.Customer Service, I was missing one piece on the bottom of the drawer, and the vendor replied quickly to say they would ship me a new drawer in a week.
